Find a window that provides enough light. Make your model stand at an angle to it and use a reflector to illuminate them. The reflector can be any white or silver surface that reflects the light from the window, opening up shadows across person’s face.

A plain white sheet of paper (A3 or more) will do the job, though a silver reflector provides better results.
