It is hard to avoid perspective distortion when you take photos of high buildings. But, you can always play with the perspective to create strong tension within the shot.

Place yourself as near as possible to the building’s base and shoot straight up its side. Doing so, you can capture all the building into one frame and provide interesting composition.
